Symptoms which this cream has been shown to improve include hot flushes and vaginal dryness. It can also be used to treat such conditions as hypoestrogenism, vaginal atrophy, and post-menopausal osteoporosis.

Dosage and Administration

Always follow the instructions given by your physician or on the packaging included. Do not self-medicate. Do not adjust your dose unless your physician or other physician specifically instructs you to do so. Premarin Vaginal Cream (Conjugated Estrogen) is to be applied topically as advised by your physician.

Consult your physician if you are unsure about how to use the cream. Usually patients will be prescribed this medication for a few weeks at a time with one week off, in a similar to how female oral contraception is used.
